University of Lorraine (IAE Metz), has adapted its impact programs (<a href=\"https:\/\/staging-fnegeorg.kinsta.cloud\/programmes-dimpact\/programme-bsis-business-school-impact-system\/\">BSIS<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/staging-fnegeorg.kinsta.cloud\/programmes-dimpact\/programme-ensis\/\">ENSIS<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/staging-fnegeorg.kinsta.cloud\/programmes-dimpact\/programme-unis\/\">UNIS<\/a>) for hospitals and medical\/social care facilities by creating the HSIS program.<\/p><p>This program was designed to <strong>determine the nature and extent of a hospital or social care center&#8217;s impact<\/strong> on its local environment \u2013 the city or region where it is located.<\/p><p>The HSIS system identifies the advantages and benefits, both tangible and intangible, that a hospital or social care center brings to its local environment through its actions. The hospital or social care center spends money in its impact zone, it purchases goods and services, provides jobs and pays salaries, some of which is spent in this area.<\/p><p>Beyond the purely financial impact that a hospital or social care center has on the economic life of its local environment, which can be measured or estimated quantitatively, it also contributes to the economic, social and cultural life of its community in other ways.<\/p><p>Through the activities and events that the hospital or social care center organizes every year, it imbues a dynamic into all the economic, political and social organizations in the area. Moreover, the center contributes significantly to the image of the city and region.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Advantages of the HSIS program<\/strong><\/p><p>At a time when all public and private organizations are increasingly accountable and must provide reports on their activities, there is a real need to show the impact that hospitals and social care centers have on their environment, backed up by solid documentation. This is particularly the case when they are financed or supported politically and economically by local stakeholders.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column
